Michigan artist James Gardin has been a saving grace for a while now. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the negativity in hip-hop and I don’t necessarily mean the blatantly obvious. Hip-Hop is used for artists to vent their troubles as well. James Gardin on the other hand constantly challenges us to keep our head and push on despite what we’re seeing in the media and everyday life for that matter.
In his newest cut “Promised Land” James Gardin sees how hard it is to keep going and persevere sometimes. Through trippy visuals and passion from James himself, this is another track to peep in a long list singles that James Gardin has released over the past few years. I can ONLY hope we that we finally get an album from this man this year. Peace to Illect Recordings.
